Recommendations for firms to look into in South FL? I'm in Ft. Lauderdale but am open to Boca or Miami. I'm a first year associate in ID (coverage issues) but really would prefer transactional work. So I’ve been with a court for a while and honestly the pay sucks compared to what paralegals should be making… the benefits are great though and they match my retirement 100% now that I’m vested at 3 years.I have 4 kids and 1 is getting ready for college. I feel like the benefits are great but I’d rather make more now. I am a previous LEO for 4 years who switched to paralegal so I have my leo retirement. Paralegals here make $28 with no benefits what is a good compromise

I am looking to make a career change to HR. I currently make 75K as a sales and development coach. I had a recent offer for a state government position in a talent acquisition role but I’d be taking a $25K pay cut. I am extremely over qualified for the position but it could possibly be a stepping stone and gives me the time to acquire SHRM certifications and possibly start taking classes to get my MBA. My question is those currently in an HR role, would this move make sense to you?
