I don't want to do errands on the clock, I want to do errands during the time I'd be commuting.
Idk I kinda dig commuting to the office so I can sit in Teams meetings all day with my AirPods in because every room is taken
But also you can bet I’m going to use any 30 minute break that shows up around lunch to get an errand in if I’ve been working until 8-10pm every night

Agree. I work more, and am more focused/more output than people in my office by far.
Having kids now and no quiet space at home, I actually prefer the office when I can get in.
Depends on the workload. If it’s nonstop, I need the quiet and space. If there’s wiggle room, coffee shop is fine.
( but for me the best part of being at home is seeing my kid at 3 pm instead of their bedtime )

We used to do ALL of our errands, Dr appts, etc during the day. Before lunch, after lunch, before work, late in the day — it didn’t matter. You could come and go as you pleased and your life was far more balanced.
So real
Running an errand or two at work used to be a normal thing well before covid and wfh. People would leave the office for dentist appointments, school/kid stuff. No one cared, it was normal.
I wanna run errands during the time I’d be commuting and do errands during the work day. Basically I wanna get paid to get my personal stuff done. And to some degree I sort of do. Thanks Covid.
Remember when the best way to come up with stuff was to not do anything so your brain works in the background?
