Hey guys,
I got selected to HCL Technologies , had submitted my documents and all the required information also updated my joining form in discover HCl website. It also shows that my bgv is completed but I have'nt recieved myoffer letter it has been more than a week. I also have a service agreement to fill it requires my date of joining which I think will be in my offer letter. Can any one help me and say how will this move from now.

I live in and really like Old Town Park. For a 1 bedroom, you may have to extend your budget slightly.

Currently living in Cobbler Square Lofts and love it, paying around 2100 for a 810 sq ft apt
Just buy, since a lot of people moved out, the city has become cheaper in terms of real estate.
In due time after covid, it will spike

I HIGHLY recommend Cobbler Square Lofts. It’s a renovated Dr Scholl’s factory. Solid amenities, massive units, and extremely reasonable pricing. I pay ~$2400/month for 1000 sq ft.

Are you under the age of 25? If not consider carefully, the area has changed during covid and is more akin to wriggleyville than what it has normally been like in the last 5 years? Maybe that's changed/changing with rents rising again.

Depends where you live in old town. For me brown was an additional 20 min walk (and you have to hang out by the Sedgwick stop which is much shadier (especially at night). And it runs less often and didn't go where I needed. So wasn't a viable options. Bus options weren't much better.
Currently trying to sublet a 1 bedroom in that area. My lease was struck at $1,950 during COVID and is well below market. Building is comparable quality / amenities to Old Town Park, and is 2 blocks east of the south end of Wells St. DM me if you want the details.
