Ha every single time. It's such a relief when you get the offer...and then you remember that it's work you're getting excited about. Spending 40+ hours of your week doing something you hate, usually for way too little money. Definitely takes some of the wind out of your sails.

Oh yes, 100%, that “yay I got the job” feeling is so short-lived before the mental checklist kicks in. You’re definitely not alone!
I do- I be like is this really going to work
I think that's a natural reaction. It's exciting, and then the reality sets in. When you're looking for a job, it feels like the most important thing in the whole world, but then you get it and reality hits. I wouldn't worry about it too much; it's a pretty normal feeling.

Yep. Doing that now. You kind of see things through rose colored glasses in the beginning. Problem is the issues are so glaring sometimes, it affects your health and well being and now you’re all of sudden on the hunt again
Yes it's only natural to feel that way.
It all about giving it a go .And then you think we'll if I'm getting paid ,what does it matter ,lol.
I always feel that way as well. I hate being the new kid at a job too. It is always so uncomfortable for a while.
Just be happy you are working. Your post seems very self entitled. If working doesn't fit your lifestyle. Than don't work.
Not at all! They are not saying working doesn’t fit their lifestyle. You post sound a little self righteous! Maybe little more compassion and less judgement! Geez! People!! Where is the kindness in your heart!!?!! Wow
I left my job after a decade. Only thing I needed was more pay my new job more pay my team members not very good.
