Coming back to the company after being on orders for 2 years. Had fun and learned a lot. Mixed feelings on coming back but looking forward to a change of pace. What things do you do to reintegrate back into the company? Already reached out to my coach and resource manager. Getting some leave back so I’m taking a few days off to get sorted out at home

After accepting an offer how soon or before how many days of joining we should tell the company that we are not going to join because of other offer(and offcourse open for negotiation)

If I have 21 RSUs vesting may 21 but another job offer (not from a FAANG but from a Series D SaaS), could I ask new company to “buy out” my RSUs? They want me to start May 1 so I can go on a company trip end of May. What are options people have tried? I don’t want to stay at Amazon until May 23 because will miss the trip with my new company and not have any time off in between jobs (I’m burnout).

I’m interviewing for an enterprise project manager for a county government entity. The interviewer OPENED the interview by stating the salary range, I’m guessing to weed out those who would not be interested in the stated range, which seemed very low, even for government. Does $65k seem low for this sort of role? I’ve interviewed mostly with tech companies, and nothing has started at less than $100k/annually. Benefits are pretty unremarkable.
