It sounds like they are as motivated as you are. I wouldn't worry about seeming overeager, that kind of enthusiasm is always a good thing if they are really trying to fill the position as soon as possible.

The context for looking overeager is I'm in a number of demographics that get advised not to travel alone. But also, I do think the company itself is interesting enough to accept this risky situation.
Very good sign. They don't want to risk losing you. Sounds like the odds of getting the offer are better than not. As far as not sounding like a robot, simply confirm your willingness to do it all if it's brought up. Don't mention it if it isn't. They don't need to hear some impassioned speech about your willingness to do whatever it takes. They're counting on you being smart enough to know what you're signing up for.

Yeah, guess I can claim something like "I have a reading tablet" or otherwise joke it off. Although I'm now frantically trying to reassure my parents that I won't end up as a true crime podcast's victim of the week due to all this solo travel.
As far as indicating to recruiters that you are ok with travel, saying yes is all you need to do. It's a "check the box" thing for them. For your own situation, you should take real risks seriously but modern security, especially within U.S. is relatively tight that I don't think you'll end up in a ditch unless you take serious risks and get into shady vehicles or venture into questionable neighborhoods. Take necessary precautions and make sure there is someone who knows your location at all times. Check in with friends and family regularly. Otherwise good luck with the process and hope you get what you are looking for
It can definitely be a good thing. I just wouldn't take it as any sort of guarantee.
