What's the salary range for a director at the Gilead Sciences foundation? There is a position perfect for me, but I don't want to throw my hat in the ring if starting salary isn't $180-190k. Also, any thoughts on the stability of their philanthropic commitment? There's talk of a recession; I don't want to go private to be cute a few months later.

Business services salaries are all over the place because the industry standards for compensation for a talent consultant at the manager level versus a lawyer in OGC with a JD at the manager level can be tens of thousands of dollars apart. Without more specifics on the role it’s hard to say, but internal promos (unless they need to bump you to bring you into a salary band) are usually <15%. You can ask your TC for the specific minimum/median/maximum for that specific SM role and they’re usually happy to tell you
