Question, my fiancé, In 2015 he was arrested for larceny/theft more than 300, less than 5k. He was only 18 years old. He had a parole officer, and tested positive for THC, his parole office left, he was never assigned a new one, he called once, never got a call back. Case was closed and now it’s reopened, by filing a doc from 2015. He has a warrant for his arrest due to failing to apear but he was never notified of court, in fact summons were not served. How can we resolve this without jailtime?

I am defending an eviction for a client who has given possession of the property (as of Nov. 30). Plaintiff’s complaint has one claim – possession. They did request relief for attorney’s fees. NJT/Final Hearing commenced 10/27, was only 30 min and was therefore continued to 12/20. Plaintiff had counsel at that time but they are no longer represented.  I want to file something notifying Court that Plaintiff claim is now moot, making sure that judgment is not entered that hurts (cont'd)..
