Hi Fellow fishes, I had an hr discussion with amdocs and during salary negotiation they told we can't give more than 11 lpa, they told it's the last offer and didn't negotiate at all. My current CTC is 7 lpa and YOE: 3 years. How can I renegotiate with them. Will they not process my offer letter if I ask them to reconsider? P.S. : I really want to join amdocs. Amdocs
Advice needed - boyfriend has almost 3.5 years of finance experience at a bank. Interviewed for PwC valuation senior associate and now recruiter says they want to hire him at “experienced associate” because he has no valuation experience. Is this too big of a step backwards in career? Should he push back and see if it gets him anywhere? If he does accept Associate, is it reasonable to ask for written, definitive timeline (1 year?) for promo to Senior upon meeting standards? Help!

Ah ok OP. It’s just a cultural fit interview. My MD asked me two questions about my resume (very basic, nothing like skilled interview questions - some asked about my background). Then some expectations setting like when I should expect to start, what project I might be put in, etc. Let the MD take reign of the conversation. Prep behavioral just in case, but I wasn’t asked anything serious. Then again, this wasn’t an AFS interview. It was for LLP/client and market.
Some good questions to ask - “what is the vision of XYZ practice?” “What’s been a key differentiator in XYZ’s practices offering?”
Lol it’s an interview on both ends. What would you like learn about the firm that would move the needle ? Perhaps you can ask about metrics on how performance is evaluated mobility across groups, probably culture 🤷♂️
If you’re being hired on to a specific project, ask about it. How big is the team, how long is the POP, what’s the customer like.
