The roles that are winning right now sit at the intersection of a few skills. If I had to choose, I’d lean toward paid media paired with strategy. Brands want people who can think, not just push buttons.
Probably analytics. Paid media and content are usually the first to go when companies start cutting back. That being said, AI will be impacting all of the above, so it's hard to say what's good for the long term.
analytics stands out for long-term relevance—every team needs someone who can turn data into action. That said, content and paid media won’t vanish, especially if you’re creative or data-driven, but analytics has a slightly stronger “future-proof” vibe right now.
