Living her warmest, cuddliest life 🔥

Hi Everyone, I am trying to apply for a Technical Support role at Dropbox I’m entering all the required fields but there seems to be an issue, when I hit submit after filling the form, it doesn’t submit and throws error ‘Looks like you left this blank! Please fill out this required field’ when all the fields are entered already (I have checked so many times, and filled the form from scratch several times too). Anyone from Dropbox who can put me in touch with HR or suggest what I should do next?

1. Congratulations for the offer. 130k is the standard starting salary for managers. You will get 7250 in hand after tax and super.
2. Use purchase power parity calculator to compare your current country income with Aus income to see whether u r having a better life and saving in ur current country or in Aus.
3. Since u dint ask about schools about ur daughter, I presume she is a toddler. However education is free in Australia, so that won't be a problem anyway.
4. Monthly expenses including rent(2500), groceries (2000) , internet, water , electricity, commute (500) will come around 5000 for a family of 3. So that leaves u with 2250 per month for savings/ ur weekend parties/road trips/holidays.ofcourse it would take u 6-8 months to make ur emergency fund/savings(3 months expense, 12 tickets to ur home country- two way tickets for ur family of 3 for 2 times, medical emergency 1000$)first, if u come without any savings.
5. You would need to have 7500$ at least with u when u land in Australia for the rent deposit, 1st month rent and groceries before u get ur first salary(15th of every month)
6. 482 visa is the temp. Skill shortage visa, it's either for 2 yr or 4 yr. U can't switch job in between, if u do, ur new employer need to sponsor the visa again. It can be extended multiple times though.
7. Not sure which country u r from. But the job market in Australia is just ok. And u get paid based on ur work experience, and everyone one in the industry follow the market rate. Meaning, u won't get hike even if u switch, if u r already getting paid at the market rate.
8. Health care is super expensive unless u r PR or citizen. You are eligible for international visa worker health insurance which is not that great. Example : U will pay 80$ to get a vitamin shot. 50$ for diabetics medicine. I would suggest take adequate medicine which u frequently use, also some anti allergy medicine which suits ur body. Changing country often results in many allergies because of the water, grass, pollen, flee bites. So keep it handy. And if u r used to take antibiotics, get that for emergencies as well. Aussie doctors won't prescribe u antibiotics unless u r near death. Which is good, but won't help u if u stay sick without it.
Note:
1. learn about Aussie culture, Aussie slangs, Aussie environment, eco systems, animals , places, weather before coming here.
2. Learn about the social and economic conditions of the country. Follow the news.
3. Be aware of the rental crisis and housing problems going on in Australia. If u have someone here with whom u can stay a couple of days or weeks in case u don't get a place to rent, and give u reference when u apply for rent, that would be great.
Lastly, I have said all these things on my personal experience. Your experience might be different from this. I have less knowledge about Adelaide. So few things might not applicable for Adelaide.
All the expenses mentioned over here are for ur family might be on a higher end. If u try, u can adjust with less expenditure than this. But since u asked for weekend party and trips, I made an assumption on the lifestyle and mentioned the expenses in higher end.
Good luck with the move. Hope you have a nice stay here. I am sure u will love it.

I believe u r at a better place currently income wise, in Mumbai. So there is not much change on that part if u come here. If that is ur prime objective of moving, you can spend some more time before making the final decision.
However, there are other aspects where Adelaide is better than Mumbai such as
1. less crowded than Mumbai
2. Cleaner air and water, u can feel the difference immediately after landing :D
3. Education is free
4. Best work life balance: 7.5 hours of working, and close ur laptop by 5.30
5. Cleaner beaches
5. Tons of places and beaches to visit
