If I just chill on the bench for long will I still only get fired at the end of the year?

Throwing this out there. My company was recently acquired and I was laid off yesterday. I’m currently 6m pregnant so looking for a company that isn’t going to have a problem with my giving birth in 3m (looking for a miracle). 13 YOE in Marketing (Brand, Digital, Product, Ops). You name it, I’ve probably done it. Team management exp but not required in next role. Just looking for 100% remote, flexibility, and company that puts families first and won’t give me a hard time about doctor appts 🙏🏻

How bad is it for a junior to push back against a completely psychotic mid level? I don’t know how this mid level hasn’t been fired because they are even rude and bossy to partners and are a nightmare for juniors. I’ve decided enough is enough and am now pushing back against their arbitrary deadlines and other insane and unnecessary asks. I rarely work with this person and have good reviews. Again this is not relevant to my exp(6 years in Network).
