That's extremely weird. Four weeks for an offer after already doing 4 interviews is super unheard of. I mean, at least they told you 4 weeks and didn't just leave you hanging that long, but still.. I have not heard of that before.

honestly me either!

I had this happen, and they were interviewing 4-5 people at once during a preset timeline per the recruitment firm I was working with so it was a matter of scheduling everyone. That said, I would follow up with the HM/ HR or stay in touch during this time, whether with any questions or value add insights from any of the previous meetings/ interviews to stay top of mind. If the timeline gets pushed because other senior management is getting involved in hiring decisions, that can also cause this like in my case.
Also, be aware this may mean you’re not the top candidate so keep interviewing. Good luck!

thanks!
That seems like an excessively lengthy timeframe, especially after four interviews. It's either the case that they're talking to other people and there's a lot to sort out, or, like a lot of companies, they're slow walking all their hiring this summer. Companies aren't sure what to expect in the economy going forward, so it seems like a lot of them are just delaying decisions as long as possible.
