I have two years of automotive/aerospace manufacturing experience and am looking for new opportunities. I recently applied to a Solution Engineer - Commercial Manufacturing, Automotive, Energy (MAE) role at Salesforce, and it sounds like a great fit. Is anyone willing to offer me a referral or advice on how to move forward in the hiring process? Salesforce

I plan on doing something else to keep my mind active. I just don’t think I have it in me to not do something productive with my time that I really enjoy. I like to shift into something for like three days a week so that I can have four days to travel or do whatever else I wanna do.

I’m teaching marketing and advertising college courses part time. By the time I retire from FT, I hope to have enough teaching experience to go to a college with a good football team.
I wish that I could retire, honestly. However, I am nowhere near the age where I can retire. I think I will be working until I am 90 years old honestly.

As long as my mind is working, I’ll need to be working too. I just hope I can stay creative.
I'm still a ways off from retiring, and I honestly don't feel much desire to do it. I see old guys in the park racing radio control sailboats, and something like that looks like it could be fun. Then again, I might get bored with it and I'm having enough fun doing what I'm doing now.

I just hope you are taking full advantage of your retirement planning so you can do whatever you want.
That’s amazing, how old is your team member. I’m hoping I can switch to a less demanding job or go part time in my 40s.

He turned 67 over the summer and made it official just before the holidays. I hope you can make that happen too.
Retirement is the dream! I’d love to spend more time volunteering, teaching and honestly would be happy to work at a bar or a local gas station for beer money
Also, your water color retirement image made me laugh

The things I do to get attention 🙂
Hoping to retire at 55, but if I find a role I truly love, then I probably wouldn’t retire that young. I’m 42 now.

I hope you get there. At 58, I can’t see me doing it now.

The dream!! I’d love to retire young but fear I’ll be working forever because it’s so hard to save 😅
