Looking for feedback on Paylocity and UKG payroll HRIS. We have 250 employees and rapidly growing company.
Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks

What are some best practices for handling an employee with dare I say, too much initiative? They tend to steamroll others and processes because they are so fast at their job and rather than taking a breather when done, start digging around for new projects outside of their scope. We value them but want to ensure others are given opportunity to thrive too.

Not currently in BigLaw but looking to lateral to a remote securities/cap markets position (live in a secondary market) from a boutique. Non-traditional older associate, billed 2000 hours last year and received a 2.5% raise and $1,000 bonus (other associates received $20k). Performance was not terrible, but less supervision so definitely made mistakes. Now finding out I am undervalued after getting interest from firms in the range of 50-60% more than my current salary. Anyone hiring?
Are firms over compensating on their hiring right now? Have near 100% job security at a boutique right now, and have an offer for Accenture. Concerned they’ll drop me like a sack of potatoes if there’s a slowdown on projects in a year. I think the comp increase is worth it and the boomerang opportunity is probably there for my current firm, but certainly seems like a risk.
