I’m looking for some examples of an employee recognition program. Does anyone have something they are willing to share? We are starting from scratch.
How do you communicate with employees who don't want to wear masks? Unbelievable to me people still have issues grasping this need.
Has anyone written the CHRL Employment Exam in Canada - Ontario specifically. What was your experience like and how did you prepare?

To all of the Talent Management / L&D professionals, what’s essential when creating a 30-60-90 day template? This will be used by the managers to help set up their new hire for success.
I recently moved to a new company. As I get access to all the systems, I noticed that I have access to HR function (peers, managers) data within the HRIS system and other sources. I am not planning to look at the data but I'm concerned that peers can see my compensation, etc., if I can see theirs. At the company I came from, HR data was extremely safeguarded and restrictive within our systems. Is this something I should bring up to my manager?
NEW TECHNOLOGY ALERT! I just received a Beta link to try out an upcoming feature in Pipedrive. They added the ability to prospect from their Leads tab digitally. You put in the search criteria, and their search engine will go out and pull in contacts or companies based on your search. From there, you can add the lead to your leads section. The person-based leads I have found thus far have had an email address, phone numbers, and LinkedIn links. Give it a look if you can. It is pretty neat.

Anyone have advice when needing to demote leaders who are not performing back to an IC role? Best practices or mistakes to avoid?
Currently, we're using JazzHR for our ATS and importing new hires in ADP WorkForce Now, our HRIS and where we run payroll. JazzHR has been great, and ADP has mostly been a pain. We're also using Concur for expenses. Just did a demo with Paycom and was generally really pleased, except the ATS which seems really bare bones compared to JazzHR. Is it worth trading the ease and functionality of our standalone ATS to get an all-in-one solution?
Seeing a lot of posts about SDRs and concern over CTR and response rate. After a while you need to think about changing the medium, not the messaging.
I’m planning to buy the study materials for the SHRM-CP certificate through Amazon. What are the best ones to obtain?
It seems that management doesn’t always understand that employee engagement is tied to many things such as work/life balance, benefits, workload, etc. Any ideas on how to present this type of info to management? We have already done an engagement survey and delivered results but there is lack of action planning which is also not heavily backed up by leadership. Any ideas on how to deliver this message so it makes an impact?
Hi, I am bringing together a team through a reorg any suggestions on how to bring a new team together remotely?
So After a few phone calls I'm having 3rd round of interviews this time in person. So I'm guess they are interested in me. So how I don't fuck up this one? What questions should I expect ?
Recently got an offer from Amazon for BI Engineer role. H1B transfer applied and currently in RFE. Anyone else going through same thing?
So needing to work 45 hours in advisory going forward, "because professionals already work that much" is a really shitty explication - probably won't get a bump in comp either.
Really kind of tired. Been working as a freelancer for a job that should be a full time position. I don’t get vacation days or OT and have been worked to the bone this last month. I’m exhausted.
I've had too many "Dr. appointments" recently. What are some other interview excuses for a nosy manager
Anyone else open to discussing salaries? I was the only associate in my small Texas firm (3 attorneys including me) and paid $40,000. Promise of bonus, but no show. I felt like that was way too low.
I’m a new Manager. Finding it difficult (and a little guilty) to take PTO. When I do take PTO, the team tends to slack off and nothing gets done. Any thoughts?
Flying without status is a punishment that I avoid unless it involves me getting laid or amazing food.
Guys need some help - Got an offer in Seattle (better WLB, industry role), salary/perks are the same... currently in Boston and not sure what the COL or other Pros and Cons... worth it moving?
A few months ago I discovered the most important thing I needed to do while applying to jobs was to apply quickly, right after a job was posted. This trick helped me land a strategy role at FAANG that I start in a few weeks. I’m thinking about commercializing this idea and making it easier for everyone to apply to jobs right after they are posted. Firstapp.io - please let me know what you think
Accidentally charged last week at Westin to my personal card. Anyone have any experience with how to switch the cards? Will SPG accommodate?
