Anyone feel frustrated at times with the super aggressive sales personalities we deal with? My AE is always pushing on every ask no matter how minuscule it is. My vp is super anal about anything we do. I understand these guys pull in huge commissions and bonuses that’s why they are so motivated. just replaced a 35yr lifer and now boss tells me to create a business plan and comp scheme. Now there’s me and my trainee who’s rather green. It would be my responsibility to train him up. With 2 effective sales people last year we did ~7M @ 50% margin avg contract value of $25k (record setting year).

Convo about mentoring came up recently. I suggested on a whim to a SE to find a sales rep mentor to learn about the mind of a sales person. Never tried it and now I am. Has anyone tried this?
