Recently joined an small company that diverted from everything it promised work-wise. I joined after multiple references who vouched for organization.

Upon entry, found out that there are long standing multiple legacy problems. Unreasonably hostile and aggressive leadership, beyond toxic workplace politics that has resulted in me being shoved into a sector for which I have no exposure, experience or anything otherwise. Essentially called in to be scapegoated.

Should I switch if get a offer?

How do find a recruiter in the legal field? Have been looking for a job for a year now and trying to transition into another practice area. Applied to more than 20 jobs and still no offers. I feel like I might need some help.
Also, I have no idea how these arrangements work. Do you pay the recruiter to look for the jobs or do you pay them when you get the job? Or does the employer pay them?
