Recently moved to a client-side role…how do the clients find out the reputation of certain agencies before issuing an RFI? Is there a forum where the real tea circulates around?

Just got let go and my manager said part of it was because I was looking for other jobs. I didn't look for other jobs at work, so I'm not sure how they could have known that unless a coworker snitched on me. Is it worth it to try and find out who or should I just leave it? Can't deny that I'm seriously pissed off about it.

Does anyone have any advice on how to shift from a specialist (paid advertising) to a more strategic (in digital marketing) role? I've been job searching for a couple of weeks and would love to be considered for roles outside paid advertising but it seems to be extra challenging this time of the year.

Curious to know what you've seen as working to non working dollars split in Canadian agencies. Reference any specific brands (or categories) if you can. Toronto banks: remote or not? They sometimes post jobs where it doesn’t say it’s remote, but no branch/ location/address either. Then you get an interview and they tell you it’s remote/hybrid(1-2-3days, take your pick)/on-site. So, if you work at TD, Scotia, RBC, could you let everybody know in the comments what’s the deal for each? Are you remote, on-site, hybrid of some sort?
