So I had my NIPT and NT scans last week and I’ve been getting pieces of the results back from my doctor in the patient portal. All seems okay but I’m a bit confused. Does anyone know if FirstScreen is the same thing as NIPT? I was under the impression that NIPT was in 90th percent of certainty for Down syndrome but the result we got, labeled FirstScreen indicate 83% certainty so I’m confused if there are more results coming? I messaged the doctor but haven’t heard back yet.

After years of being overworked and having requests for help go unacknowledged- I put in notice after 20 years. In addition to this, this job checks every box as far as being a toxic workplace, I made the decision to save my mental health in lieu of a paycheck. It has not been formally announced that I’m leaving, but the word is out, and I am getting the “silent treatment”.
