Check out city recreational centres.
Go for group lessons. (Don’t go for private lessons. In group lessons, you’ll learn more, make some friends to skate with)
They are an hour session every week. Just be patient. Don’t look at the kids skating 😂

I loved my learning experience there although I could not finish it but you know to have someone to correct you and to make sure that you don’t fall is important.

Dm me if you need any help.

The regular old skating rinks offer beginners lessons by the hour like Skate Toronto or Central Toronto Skating Club. It's a lot more fun if you go fro group lessons with your friends.

like

Central Toronto Skating Club is offering ice skating classws for all ages. It's located in downtown toronto. But it has 2 locations one in Moss Park Arena and one in Mattamy Athletic Centre.

like

Harbourfront Centre rink offers rentals and Learn to Skate lessons for anyone 16+.

Central Toronto Skating Club has the best skating classes out of all the one's I've taken. Reasonable prices in my opinion.

Do you want to do solo lessons or group lessons? Your local recreational centre would be best for a group and Skate Toronto for private lessons.

Same boat as you! Update us on what you find out :)

Just search for nearest recreational centre and there, you will be able to find ice skating lessons. I have taken lessons. They are in batches. Just don’t give up and be patient with yourself.

Dm me if you need more help.

Does anyone know what’s going on with my philodendron? I’ve had this plant for years and just recently got it to start producing new leaves again and all the new ones have these lighter spots, but all the old growth is just a solid dark green like the leaf in the background. Good thing, bad thing, or just a thing that happens? Anyone have some insight?

Hi all,
I had a video screening interview earlier last week, got an email back couple days later and this is what the email says ( referred to screenshot below).
I replied with a date and time which is today at 1:30pm- I still didn’t get a response. Needless to say I emailed them this morning to remind them.
What to make if this ?

Curious to know what you've seen as working to non working dollars split in Canadian agencies. Reference any specific brands (or categories) if you can. I'm used to seeing the conventional 15-20% split for non working (production dollars only, not including media budget, agency fees) but are those days gone now with the takeover of digital (vs traditional) ad placements?

Making a lot of money relative to the average but feeling poor? Median after-tax income was ~$55,000 in 1981 and was ~$73,000 in 2020. Using a Bank of Canada inflation calculator $55,000 in 1981 is equivalent to ~$165,000 today, which would put someone in the top 10% of earners today. But in 1981 the median family had that extra money. Who can I blame?

Hi! I have worked in management roles in tech, mainly in analytics, for approximately 10 years. My TC has fluctuated (currently around 135K CAD), but it seems like it's relatively easy to breach the 100K bar, but hard to breach the 150K bar. I now work at the CBC, but I have worked in the private sector too. What is the most realistic way to move to 200K? 1) Continue moving the ladder to a VP position, 2) Switch to Pre-Sale, 3) Switch to Consulting, 4) Work from a U.S. company from Canada.
