Should campus hires negotiate salaries?
How is Deloitte with filing for GC? My current employer just started my i-140 process and Iâm coming in as an experienced hire Consultant. I was told they will start the process after a year but not stated in my offer. I have 3.5 years left on my H1-B. Is it risky join Deloitte for something with visa requirements? TIA

Being on the other end calls with Bose qc users - they are designed for noise cancelling not so great at isolating audio of other rooms or noisy airports and can add background noise to calls. Look for those with boom mics or are designed for calls and isolate the user better.
You're right. Good advice thank you!
By "on road" I mean literally in the taxi, boarding a plane, etc đ
Do they have to be wired? Your better option nowadays may be to get one of the higher end Bluetooth wireless noise cancelling headphones such as the Bose QC35 II, Bose NC 700 or Sony WH-1000XM3. These can all be used for calls and normally get more than 16 hours of use per charge and will also make flying more pleasant.
For calls and multiple devices, the NC 700s are best but donât fold up, the Sonys have the best sound IMHO and last me 25+ hours but are more tedious to switch between devices so best if you mainly want to use them with one device. The QC 35 IIs are fine too, just one generation older and with a little lower quality microphone for calls, it also a lower price.
They ideally need to be wired and foldable - hate messing around with audio input settings. And bluetooth connectivity may be an issue too.
Those you mentioned seem to have a mic that would let in too much background noise I think. I badly need something that will minimize background noise because feedback is people can barely hear me.
Currently I use the AKG earbuds I got with my work Samsung Galaxy S10 while on the road, and a proper Jabra headset in the office. If I take the Jabra with me it ends up bein damaged because it's not portable and I stuff my carryon. Can go for weeks without coming home
Im often in calls thru security etc. putting laptop in tablet mode and leaving earbuds plugged u6n while in call thru scanner, during boarding announcements, in busy cafes, ...
