SS&C Technologies, Inc. Resigned from SS&C Technologies, Inc. due to the toxic people and hostile work environment. The exit letter said I would be paid for hours worked and additional 2 weeks of pay. I signed the letter and sent it back but I was never paid the 2 additional weeks of pay in my final paystub. I reached out to HR, they are saying they sent the wrong termination letter and now refuse to pay the 2 additional weeks of pay. What’s the move? Can I take legal action and file a claim with NJ depart of labor?

Recently interviewed at Adobe, it was great. Even the senior designer I was connected with escalated it a lot. But then suddenly after the last interview, I haven’t heard in a week from them even after multiple follow ups. Recruiter said she will reach out on Monday, but even Tuesday passed now. Tax senior with CPA at small firm. Best way to get to Big 4 audit? (LA or OC) Went to non-target so little to no alumni at B4. I don’t mind the switch to a lower title since audit was always my preference and was never a fan of tax (stayed local for family).

What are your thoughts about wearing only a casual graphic tee for an interview at a non-tech company? I interviewed a candidate and he dressed casual (at least from the top and up) when all other candidates were business professional. The position will be full time in office eventually. It left me with a negative impression. Welcoming other perspectives, because maybe my thinking is outdated.
