I have been tagged for this project that doesn’t start until June 10th. My utilization is going to drop significantly but at the same time the deployment team cannot present me elsewhere. Ugh!

Firm will file (premium processing) for my H1-b extension to support my ongoing Perm process (no I 140 yet). Once i have the extension, will I be able to switch to another firm with just the extension and no i140 ? I assume my perm will restart in new place if they agree to ? anyone has done this? I’m fairly new to contributing to my 401k, I see mixed opinions on Roth vs. Traditional. My informal life advisor is trying to tell me that the opportunity cost for not having the investments in the traditional 401k is greater than the long term tax benefits from contributing to a Roth 401k? Told a friend of mine in tech I was considering moving to BCG. He asked me if I would have to move to Boston.

I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."
