Saw a newer professional in here, and there are so many people eager for a job and really committed to their careers, but I'm also seeing a lot of genzers who are what I would say "sleeping on the job" and I think it's really unfair. I wonder if that trend is even affecting the likelihood of really dedicated graduates looking for work.

It will all be called to the light eventually. Those who are not performing up to par will be let go or will find themselves in the same place for a long tim.

I've seen Gen Z workers who embody the "quiet quitting" phenomenon, doing the bare minimum to get by and showing little enthusiasm for their work. They're more likely to take extended breaks, prioritize personal life over work and generally exhibit a more laid back approach.

Looking to get advice on two different job offers. I am only concerned about long term career prospects in choosing one or the other. Offer 1: warehouse manager for a beverage company. Offer 2: material distribution manager for an industrial equipment manufacturer. Again, only want input on future opportunities that each might provide. Thanks!

People say I'm weird, but it's always been my dream to become a truck driver just like my dad. It's not the most glamorous job out there, but it was enough for him an it's enough for me.

It’s very discouraging to continuously receive these rejection emails. With 9 years of supply chain experience, I am not sure why I would not be able to at least get an interview for entry level roles that require no experience. Not just this one pictured but others as well. I’ve applied to maybe 60 positions since May, both mid level and “entry” and no interviews. I’ve had my resume professionally re-written twice. Not sure where the disconnect is. Anyone else going through this same thing?

Today I messed up doing a delivery. The client was expecting the supplies at 3pm in the warehouse, however, there was an accident on the highway and traffic was insane. It slipped my mind to let them know about the delay. Now, they believe it was me being irresponsible and are threatening to fire me for not reporting on time and possible losing them a client. What can I do to fix the situation?
