I know Liver King is out there but my roommate has been living by his “9 ancestral tenets” and it basically changed his life. Anyone else that follows something similar seen benefits? Seems like he’s rooted on well being and staying connected with the world around you. Even if you think he’s weird his YouTube video is well put together.

Supply chain management requires a deep understanding of various areas such as logistics, operations management, finance, and information technology in order to be successful. I tend to get lost because it can be overwhelming.
In SCM, the part I like the least to deal with is the legislation for transportation, although it is one of the most important details, it is also one of the most tedious.
I think one of the parts that I consider the most difficult is the selection of good suppliers, this is a detailed process but in the end it boils down to testing whether the supplier is good or not.
The people who make us look bad, I am from logistics, and many times we are to blame for things that get out of our hands, the people in charge of dispatches are not always punctual or responsible, and that becomes a problem that is our fault.
I am a warehouse manager and we are dedicated to the distribution of many things, including edible things, I have been warning my superiors for 1 year that we cannot store things related to food where we store computers, food calls for incepts and space and PCs must be constantly struck down They should not be struck down for reasons of hygiene and humidity, recently more than 200 computers had problems and they want to blame the warehouse department for that, and it is something that I noticed, in short, I do not like working with irresponsible people.
There are many ups and downs in the chain, and one of the things that annoy me the most is irresponsible customers, they make the processes slow and at the same time they do not allow us to progress as they should, for example, I work with a doctor who places implants breast implants, this doctor always orders implants at the last minute for his clinic, but then he is rushing the purchase, our procurement department only makes these purchases from an authorized company in Europe and this company is in high demand, therefore this client calls and He complains about the service that he himself provides, which is bad, and we have a policy where the client is always right, but in this case, it is very difficult to work with this client.
Something I don't like about working in the supply chain is that we have many places in the organization where everything depends on human management, that is, our margin of error is always very large and it is very stressful to control everything to minimize the margin of error.
I don't like the little defense that we have as a supply chain, it is not our case but I know of companies that have been sued and have lost million-dollar lawsuits for failing to comply with the delivery step, many times these delivery times escape our hands and can be for hours or days, but there are not many things that save you from the demand and worse still, there are not things that prevent you from paying the demand.
The delays! A part of me dies whenever a shipment has a delay. It's like, "what else can go wrong?"
Just how unpredictable things are, like, everything! A couple years ago a funny thing happened to us, a huge shiipment of toys coming from Asia was lost in the middle of the Pacific Ocean because the boat sank! Thankfully no one died, but all our products got wrecked. Thank god for insurance!
The amount of complexity that often accompanies it. Supply chains are often complex networks, as they involve multiple players and a large number of interdependencies between them. They usually require high levels of coordination and collaboration to ensure that everything runs smoothly. This means that it can be difficult to keep track of all the different pieces and how they fit together.
Because supply chains tend to span across entire industries, they can be subject to external influences such as economic conditions that can throw off the entire system if not managed carefully. It can be too many players in one single game and everything can go wrong very quickly.
One thing I dislike a lot is competitiveness. We get paid base + commissions. A lot of ym coworkers go insane in order to secure a sale because the get commission. There is a lot of foul play going on in the background.
The people who do a lackluster job of providing leadership for the younger leaders in the company.
