I had to abandon my dreams of a career in Healthcare 15 years ago for my son's sake. My husband had a good job and supported us. I'm now past my 40s with an Associate in Medical Assisting(2012), and a License to sell Life Insurance though I've not sold any yet. I don't really have it in me or financially to take long college courses. Any advice or suggestions?

Why is education deemed more valuable on a pay scale than experience? Employers will pay someone with a degree and no experience a greater salary, than someone who has exhibited the experience.
