Note: I submitted my application a week ago and haven't heard back yet. I got my referrer (Consultant) to make a note to the Recruiting Manager, but not sure if it means anything.
I plan to use rocketblocks to prepare if you guys feel it's appropriate at this time
Probably, many people caseprep months in advance so best to get as comfortable as you can
Gotcha! Well, going to get started then :)
Nah, you’ll burn out. Lateral recruitment timeline is longer, you’ll have plenty of time to prep.
Source: I started prepping once I heard from MBB and still got it. Didn’t know much about case interview before
Depends on the office/interviewer. Mines were cases I’ve never done before that they created from their own case experience, I think we’re asked to build our own cases once you’re certain level
One of my final round was very conventional cost cutting case, the other was unconventional (market sizing for funeral industry)
Depends how much prep you have to do. If you’re stating from square one then yes. If you just need a refresh you’re probably fine to wait
Gotcha!! Thanks - I have done cases in the past. Interestingly, turn around time for interview invitations seem fast - so I started casing again
