Hi All, Please help to chose between cognizant and harman. I got two offer of 26 LPA from cognizant in kolkata location and 28 LPA from harman pune location. In harman project will be with Adobe client. In cognizant, I don't have any idea about project details. My skill is node js, angular js, JavaScript and experience is 7.3 years. I am from kolkata. As long as there are legacy systems without API's, you will be surprised how many companies still run critical processes in AS400, COBOL, etc with no roadmap for upgrades
I maybe biased but I don't see it disappearing. I see it becoming much easier for Citizen Development to deploy. AI with Process Intelligence will be the next wave that works alongside simple automations. There will always be inefficient processes and multiple systems that require swivel chair activities which can be resolved by RPA.

Funny you say that, because the whole reason RPA is needed was because of "competent engineers" that couldn't get their automations working correctly or quick enough 🤣
It’s a band aid in the end for broken business processes imo. I think give it 5 and it’ll be normal speak for novice users . Power automate desktop ships with every single windows release now .

Yeah, tech debt makes it necessary. I just had to build a bot to scrape our user list because our database is unreliable and the structure is a mess.

Where is the user list stored?
It'll be a while. Most companies don't have the recorcous to automate their process quickly, so they'll need RPA to use as a bandaid. But I would recommend everyone to broaden their development skills as we move along
