Fave group - over and out...
I had a second round of interview with McK 1 week back but no one got back to me yet.
I only received a link to login to McK website where the status my job application shows “In Progress”.
I am not sure whether it takes so much time for McK to respond after the second round. Is anybody aware of this?

Actually, I think in military circles his reputation is in tact and would be well respected among his peers continuing in an Army career. He fully upheld Army values. As far as working in political circles in this partisan environment, no, he’s done there. But I think he’ll always have a home in the military. Also, if dems somehow win 2020, I could definitely see them reappointing him somewhere in the White House or similar to make a statement.
I’ve little faith unfortunately. Partisanship is worse than ever, and political appointees (instead of policy experts or SMEs) are placed at the top of of organizations everywhere, and all are doing the administrations bidding.
Trump has proven to be incredibly vindictive. I think he’ll (through his appointees at the Pentagon) do what he can to derail Vindman’s career. Trump is already slandering him today. Keep in mind his superior, Fiona Hill, had this to say in a formal review:
“'Alex is a top 1% military officer and the best Army officer I have worked with in my 15 years of government service. He is brilliant, unflappable, and exercises excellent judgment. Was exemplary during numerous visits.”
he is a true patriot trying to survive in a dictatorship
So he just gets new orders, goes to a new post and goes on with his career.
That sounds like a fairly normal life to me, but I think he will suffer in relationships.
From being in the navy. Most ships have a Commander in charge, capital ships have a Captain.
And i think that explains my mistake. A lt commander is not the same as a lt col.
I hope the best for him. I think he’s screwed in DC, but can hopefully land elsewhere less politically charged. Seems to be a good man and a good soldier who has done nothing but serve honorably.
