Online Masters recommendation? I’ve got a GI Bill burning a hole in my pocket. Finished my MBA last year and still have more than half my GI Bill left. I don’t think it’s a good idea for me to go to..

school full time, but getting a BAH deposit each month would be nice. I’m considering MPS Enterprise Architecture and Business Transformation from Penn State.

Anybody know of an online masters degree that might actually make a difference on my resume or career?

like

You are only required to attend the first and last week of the program. Everything else can be done virtually.

UC Berkeley data science/analytics. One of my team is doing it now.

like

Thanks. I remember seeing that. I wonder if I’m more likely to use masters level analytics or enterprise architecture? I do think Berkeley carries a bit more weight, especially on west coast where I’d like to end up eventually. I’ll give a good look. Thanks again!

Doesn’t University of Phoenix have a Masters Program?! 😂

funny

Also wth would anybody get an MBA from Excelsior? It’s probably just as much work as ones from much better schools. Is it just a cost play?

Meanwhile I need to find out how to figure out the remainder of my GI bill...

GA Tech has an online only MSCS that is very promising

like

I did Johns Hopkins systems engineering before doing my MBA. It is an MS. Took me 2 years.

Is that offered online? The website seems a little ambiguous to me. It looks like JHU offers a lot of MS online. Is that accurate?

Northwestern has an online Data Science program. What kind of degree are you looking for?

Looking for an online program that doesn’t require live sessions (i.e. I can do coursework at 1AM or whenever, not having to login for live lectures).

Beyond that, the better the brand and more pertinent the content the better. Currently a “strategy” consultant but eventually I’d like to be in general management in a large corporation.

Can you get that GI bill housing allowance with online masters... WHILE working full time?

You get half the national average. Right now I think it’s $825/month.

I did a weekend MBA and collected full BAH while working full time.

Data science is never a bad way to go

Does it help in any way besides refreshing contents about supply chain?
