Right. She had a few good tidbits but has recently been chasing cringe clout
How is this cringe? It's unnecessarily long, but the point is perfectly reasonable.
Its maybe fictitious in the post but definitely very real especially in the recent months 🙄
Sophie and Tanya are not team players.
Maybe find out the reason why Sophie quit and then solve that problem first? 🤷🏾♂️
Well THAT was a waste of my time.
It's been 16 years and I've never seen this scenario happen. Entire function quitting in a span of weeks? Lol posting this just tells her audience she doesnt respect their intellect enough to come up with a proper scenario
Plot twist: Sophie took the team with her when she got onboarded.

Now, CEO has saved enough money from Sofie's and Tanya's salaries to outsource whole PMO department from offshore
This!
I've seen something similar happen within the past year. Two days after I verbally accepted an offer I received a call from my soon to be manager. She was frantic because two employees resigned as an act of solidarity to their manager, the person whose role I was supposed to fill. I had been recruited for the role as part of a confidential job search. Turns out it wasn't so confidential because one of the other canfidates was a relative of the person being terminated and tipped her off to the confidential search that was underway. The tip gave her enough leeway to secure a new role. When my soon to be employer called her into a meeting to terminate her, she beat them to the punch and resigned effective immediately. Within an hour of her leaving the office, two of her three direct reports (long tenured employees) gave their 2 weeks notice. The third team member who was fairly new to the team was the last one standing. This was a huge red flag that caused me to probe for more information on why the company had opted to terminate a long tenured and apparently respected leader. I given the same response that she was not a team player and depleting the morale of the team. The truth is the organization did not like that she was outspoken when seeking equitable comp and rewards for herself and her team. In the end, despite the add-on of a generous sign on bonus and bump in the agreed upon base salary, I rescinded my acceptance of their offer. The LinkedIn post could be real or fake. Keep in mind, Incidents that occur outside of ones realm of reality doesn't make it less real.
Megh. I don’t see any indication that this person was implying this was anything other than a fictitious scenario, and I agree with the point they’re trying to make.
The point she's making is valid, but the execution is the cringe. She could have written a post about the knock-on/domino effect of poor management causing more people to quit and spiralling effect of incompetent leadership but no - it's a cringey fictitious clickbait scenario post..
HR: are we offering promotions to those doing the extra tasks
CEO: you are fired
I need more of these posts and engagement 😀
If you give your top performer a $10,000 raise everyday then they will never leave.
Another CEO response i have seen is “Blame game” similar situation except instead of taking accountability for not allowing to rebuild a team they decide to say “What is management doing wrong on their end to make them quit! “ when all management can do it continue to operate with that they have. Allot of the times just like this scenario its not coming from management but from the higher ups. The unfortunate reality is that management as the middle man gets blamed and the employees become upset with them when its not something they can control.
The only reason I worked there was to take advantage of the fantastic employee discount on footwear. It wasn't worth all the drama that takes place there!!! 😂
