But seriously, how do we handle when companies push boundaries in an interview? Should we be honest or just take it as a cue that the job isn't a fit? Are they looking to hear a real answer or just waiting for pushovers?

Haha, I love the never-ending commission check answer! Honestly, I think it's important to be upfront during the interview. If a company is already pushing boundaries, it’s a red flag. I’d rather be real and find a place that respects my time.

Sometimes I wonder if some of the questions that come up in job interviews are in good faith or some kind of test. In that screenshot I assume the dropdown menu has some sane choices, but who knows. It might be something an industrial psychologist cooked up.
