I feel this too when the darkness takes control. It will lock me to the sofa, the bed, or my home. Everything is a battle, even getting up to do things I enjoy and find fulfilling is a fight. Sometimes, the darkness wins a battle here or there and I go back to the sofa. But, eventually, I gain ground over it. Like shadows before the early morning sun, it will weaken, fade, and can be replaced by the most beautiful sunrise. Not every morning is a beautiful sunrise, but the sun rises every morning and tomorrow could be the next beautiful sunrise.
This is beautiful.
My immediate go-to is 5-10K IU of vitamin D, then see if my space needs cleaning, then sitting with my thoughts and feelings in a clean, open space.
