I recently joined nagarro.... was on bench for almost a month as I was not getting project as per my skill set. Recently got one project as per my skillset and cleared client interview also.
But during the time, I was also looking outside for good opportunity, I have one with same package from a product based organization.
What should I do now ? If I resign , would Nagarro release me early or I will have to serve complete notice period?

I feel it. Pay is definitely not keeping up with inflation, and IMO, most paralegals are severely underpaid. If you can, you can always look for a new position. You're more likely to get a significant increase by switching jobs than you are asking for a raise.
I can relate - love my job but often find myself exploring a different field out of necessity
I’m with you on this one, been here five years and barely got a small raise. They keep saying it’s COVID related on why we haven’t gotten raises or real bonuses. Instead we get snacks (which tasted like crap). I hate to leave because I like 90% of my coworkers (except for office managers that don’t know anything, no matter how many times I explain). But unfortunately if some place offers me more, I’ll have to go.
I am in the same boat. Its not like were making six figures and with the inflation it doesnt make things any better. Its good to ask for raise but it also depends on how big the raise is to see if it would help your situation. Even bonuses could help
If you get a raise and are bumped into a higher tax bracket, you are only taxed at the higher rate for every dollar above and beyond the threshold for the higher bracket. Google “progressive tax system”.
I FEEL YOU….. I think the best thing to do is to remember that everyone is in the same boat. Even attorneys. Ask for a raise and see where you get. If they can only offer a small raise (and you are happy otherwise) try to leverage something else that will take some burdens off of you - i.e. would you be able to pay for my gym membership? Let me work remotely to save gas? Etc…. Anything to show them that you like your job and want to work there and with them, but just cannot make ends meet right now. I bet they’ll be responsive and help you out.
I hear you, and thank you! I’ve been working remotely, and go into the office once a month, or on filing days, and that helps tremendously. I’ve also cut down expenses, etc. I like the job and the people are amazing - that’s what’s keeping me there. But it gets harder seeing bills piling up on the counter. I’ll see how much the raise will be and make a decision on what to do next.

Yes. Pay was a huge factor in me switching from criminal law to IP. Zero regrets
