Sorry for the barrage of posts, but this one is worth telling. Couple months ago, I found a gator hanging in my pond. I live next to a swamp so it’s not uncommon to have one wander through occasionally. This one was a little too big for my liking though. I have 3 dogs so I was worried Wally might try to eat one of them. I’m not fond of jail so I did the right thing and called a game warden to get a nuisance tag. I go to a small gas station in a small town - the county seat of one of the smallest counties in TN. Went the other day. Was in line to buy gas (pumps don’t even have card readers)- and this old man slides by me, smiles, and says, “Got me a pizza! Now getting me some beer!” Love the energy. It was also 2pm on a Thursday. I said: “Sir, damn, I still have 3 hours, lucky you!”
