Phone addiction. I truly feel like I have one now and I hate it. Is anyone feeling the same or possibly improved your phone addition? I am constantly on my phone and my usage is averaging 5.5 hours per day. I wake up to my phone and it's the last thing I see before bed. On it between meetings and any moment that I don't have to be focused. I will say that my phone doesn't get touched when I'm with people. Almost at all. It is a cycle of insta, snap, and FB. I had 4-5 rounds of interview in Amazon in last 1.5 months, including bar raiser. I got a mail stating I am selected for position within 4 hours of my bar raiser round.
HR asked for a few documents like last 3 months payslips, ECTC etc. It's been 4 working days and that HR is not replying on my mail. It is fine or something is off track ? Any suggestions ?
Does they usually turn back after sending selection mail and asking for documents

I go to a small gas station in a small town - the county seat of one of the smallest counties in TN. Went the other day. Was in line to buy gas (pumps don’t even have card readers)- and this old man slides by me, smiles, and says, “Got me a pizza! Now getting me some beer!” Love the energy. It was also 2pm on a Thursday. I said: “Sir, damn, I still have 3 hours, lucky you!”

Who here has been tearing up some boiled peanuts? Not those old nasty ones they overcook in gas stations either. I’m talking fresh picked and fresh boiled green big boys. One of my favorite eats this time of year!

Sorry for the barrage of posts, but this one is worth telling. Couple months ago, I found a gator hanging in my pond. I live next to a swamp so it’s not uncommon to have one wander through occasionally. This one was a little too big for my liking though. I have 3 dogs so I was worried Wally might try to eat one of them. I’m not fond of jail so I did the right thing and called a game warden to get a nuisance tag.
