Which one to choose between Optum and Tiger Analytics for Data Scientist position? Where can I expect better data science domain expertise (In my previous companies I found very less understanding of Data Science practices as team)? Heared good things about both of these. Also hearing Tiger is expanding rapidly and getting some crap projects as well in the name of data science. Could someone put light on these things?

Especially to tolerate pharma.
Low. I know that and I’m a fuckface junior.
Checkout Glassdoor. By using both this forum and Glassdoor you should be able to get a pretty good idea/range of what you should be getting paid. It will be your best friend when time comes to getting a new job and having to negotiate your salary. Also be prepared to be shocked/maybe even shed a couple tears. Your self-esteem can really take a blow by looking as well though. I know mine was the first time. But after that I made sure to get paid at least what the average for the city/nation. So it can be a super helpful tool. So far It’s really helped with my past 5 negotiations, I have walked away knowing I’m getting paid what attest what Ian worth for the city I live in.
Also if you are making the jump from city to city/state to state. There’s also a really great tool that will give you a pretty good comparison of what you’ll need to ask for when negotiating salaries. Sometimes that can be tough especially if have never lived in that state/city. The comparison will also breakdown the details like, gas, rent, groceries/food, and other things we don’t initially think about when it comes to negotiating.
There’s so many tools nowadays, there’s no excuses for not knowing what your worth before walking into what can seem like a daunting conversation. But once you are loaded up with the knowledge you need to know, you will feel a 100 times more confident when it comes to throwing out that number.

I’ll usually do an average of a couple different comparisons since they will vary.
Also use this link to figure out what you will actually end up with after taxes. That’s another thing to consider when negotiating.

Seems low.
Definitely low. Currently making that same amount and I'm 3 years in based in the southeast.
It's low. I'm 2 years experience (in pharma as well) in NYC, about to get bumped to 80.
$5-10k low I'd say.
Also I feel like you should be at around 110ish +/-
It’s not that low in terms of the number for the title. Senior CW in pharma goes from the 80s into the low 100s. Then low 100s to 130ish is Copy Sup level. With your number of years experience you should be thinking about making the jump to Copy Sup to reach the next level.
