In this field, when choosing a masters degree program is it more beneficial to get a degree in Human Resources to further my knowledge in HR (my undergraduate degree is in Economics) , an MBA, or Data Science Degree due to the fact that HR is becoming more data driven as well as get a PHR / SHRM-CP certification?

If you were talked into applying for a position by a good person/someone you admire as a leader. This would be a said “Opportunity of a life a time”, work life balance, more money and all. You ended getting the position and within 3 month you feel you’re living hell on earth. The boss is not good to work with (I’m being very generous), not understanding of the business. The workload is far superior than promised and you just sent go quit. Would you talk with who led you into the job?What to say?

What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now. One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients).
