How was it? I took it a decade ago when I was helping out at a shop in exchange for free nitrox and cheap gear. It was a work out but I don't recall it being much worse than other courses. Only used the training twice, just to pull distressed divers back to shore.

I found it to be a useful experience to learn and practice things that are far less glamorous than what most divers would be interested in.
Tiring - about 4 hours both days in the water. All basic skill review, out of air drills, tows etc, and then progressively increasing rescue efforts from disconnected BC issues (sinking then rising), to panicked diver at the surface, unconscious diver at the surface, then lost / unconscious diver underwater.
It’s required for dive master, but worth going through otherwise because these are things to draw from in an emergency.
Sound amazing and really useful. I always feel the more prepared you are the less you panic in any situation. Definitely want to do this
