Anyone here 30+ been single for extended periods of time (years and years) and not mind it? I just love being on my own, doing what I want and not having to answer to anyone. I’m 30 now, and am starting to worry if maybe I’ll feel lonely if I keep on this path. So far I feel pretty good though. When I have been in relationships, I’ve always ended up feeling suffocated and like I just wanted to be on my own. Even if I was madly in love at the beginning. *Medical Records Requests / Reducing Expenses / HITECH*
I recently left my corporate paralegal role to return to a small personal injury firm. I was shocked to learn that the HITECH fee no longer applies if a client requests their medical records be sent to a third-party (e.g. attorney). Has anyone had any success modifying their HITECH request template for clients so there IS a fee limitation AND the records are sent directly to their attorney? Paying $100+ for hospital records is sickening.

Little story I wanted to share. I’ve never been close to one of my siblings and haven’t put effort to change that. Eg., never initiated conversations. In the past few years I’ve felt convicted to try to be more loving. I didn’t feel I liked her, but recognized my responsibility by being cold, even though it was subconscious and not quite intentional. So anyway, I’ve been trying, with much prayer. My aunt recently passed away, leaving behind 2 young girls (16 and 12 years old). I’m trying my best to be there for them and pray for them, and have been asking people to pray for them as well. Until I started question what is the point of asking people to pray for them? I know God hears my prayers, so why do we ask people to pray ?
