I wear tasteful sandals all the time as long as I have a pedicure and have for years. NYC and Chicago.
I've never been able to bring myself to wear sandals to work, but I'm sure the dress code varies from company to company. It's just a matter of what you're comfortable wearing and what the dress code stipulates. Personally, I would feel afraid that people were looking at my toes all day, which would make me feel very self-conscious 🤣
in Dubai or Spain it s,OK, in NYC i dont know
Even if the company dress code says "Yes," I would say "No." The only difference between an open-toe shoe and going barefoot is a piece of material on the bottom and a few straps on top.
Love a tasteful pair of block heel city sandals in a neutral color, especially when paired with a tailored dress or suit. Freshly pedicured toes are a must. This feels more professional to me in the summer than a floral dress and/or bright/pastel stiletto heels.
