Because no one knows anything!!!!
Agreed. People still don’t know if it can spread through the air.
Hell the WHO, up until this month, was saying the virus rarely spreads when people don’t show symptoms on their official website

No is the short answer.
Vaccine creates memory cells without killing you. That way if you get exposed to CV, your immune system is better prepared to respond faster.
On the other hand, you will have to get infected a few times to create those memory cells. The risk is exponentially higher.
The vaccine may or may not grant you lifelong immunity. You may have to get boosters from time to time. That is yet to be seen.
They don’t actually know for sure yet because the testing isn’t honed in. Trying to keep people who “think” they got it but actually didn’t from just piling out.
The flu vaccine typically has 4-5 strains and are the scientists best guess. If you can get reinfected with covid, then this means the virus mutated. This a vaccine will be harder to develop as it would need to incorporate multiple strains and possible mutations of COVID instead of one

Vaccine yes! But anti viral medication that targets the Covid-19 virus precisely will solve in such cases

A vaccine reduces the likelihood of having the same level of reaction to the virus, ie if you get it again but are vaccinated, you are well equipped to handle fighting off the virus

Of course you can get reinfected, otherwise why do you need flu shots every year? The problem with this virus is that because it’s so new, people don’t know how long immunity can last. A small number of patients in Asia have tested positive after being cleared / discharged, and doctors are still figuring it out. Is this reinfection? Or simply testing error? The jury is still out. I don’t think there’s reason to panic over it yet, but it doesn’t hurt to wait cautiously for scientists to figure it out.

Hence “jury is still out”. But I’d rather err on the side of being too careful until we know for sure.

You’re right. The entire point of a vaccine is to stimulate your body to create antibodies. If your body is unable to create antibodies, then a vaccine is literally impossible.
Lucky for us, there have been no confirmed cases of reinfections.

Thanks for the link. I clicked on the first result and here’s what I found it.
Once again, there are NO confirmed cases of reinfection. There are people who tested positive again, but that is NOT necessarily a reinfection. In medical terms, a reinfection and a testing positive again are very different.
