Any thoughts on salary range for Senior level (15+ years of experience) P&C E&S underwriting in Arizona? I’ve put some feelers out, but the salary ranges I am seeing seem low.
What are all these people leaving consulting to go to big tech actually doing? Every 3 months I pretend to know about a new client and I'm good at pmo. Can I have 300k too?
Going to join a IBM with 11LPA and I will be getting 1.5L bonus at the end of march, and my taxable income for FY 21-22 is less than 5LPA, pour some ideas on tax implications over the bonus.
15+ years experience in Forensic Accounting. What would be considered fair pay in the NYC area? Average yearly Billings was 2,500, however recently took over the building out of systems, training younger staff, more marketing in a set region; basically more non billable work.
Opinions on going from agency to in-house? 1.5 years into my first job and might have a good opportunity. I am open to just working in-house but have no experience. I heard its better pay and benefits
How are the hours in B4 Risk Assurance? I’m doing 60+ at midsize. My colleagues say it’s way higher.
I had my HR discussion in Cognizant and they've provided me the compensation details on telephonic conversation. But I haven't received any mail for documents submission. Can anyone tell me what's the exact procedure and how long it normally takes as my Notice period will be over within 3 weeks.

Recently had some recruiters reach out to me about copywriter roles. I’m still pretty new to the industry, 2 yrs in, but I figured I’ll ask for a bit higher than what I’m used to. Soooo I asked for 70k. Then talked to a couple people who said that was too high for an intermediate. So my question is, should I be asking for less? I don’t want to switch jobs unless I get an adequate bump in my salary, but also don’t wanna reach too high and get passed over for someone else. Thoughts? 😫
I'm currently in a product role with major commercial ownership(Techno-commercial). I am trying to increase my skill-set and want to continue growing in this huge org. However I feel I am being underpaid as my competition pays better. I don't want to leave and build my credibility. Is 9LPA in hand a good amount? I have 5 years of exp and i need financial stability at this point. Please help with inputs. TIA.
What is the current typical salary band for Level 9 consultants? Trying to debate whether taking an offer or not
Just a heads up: I had an interview with Benet in Jacksonville FL. Totally misleading from description in ziprecruiter (see posting below).
Turns out they want you to push covid tests (free if insured) to anyone and anywhere you can. Basicallyhang out in parking lots. Payment is $20/test. Wasn't anything that they advertised $20-30/hr +commissions/bonus, potential 80k 1st yr).
I have an offer to move client side and help them on their implementation of Workday (current implementation Consultant) as their HCM Admin. Pay is much better (about 30k more than now, currently make 72) - but my husband told me to think about it because it’s so easy to get promoted and shine in my current role. I’ve been told I’m top of my level and doing everything right. Do I stay and advance to Principal/Manager for resume or go to Client Side for major company to help them?
Anyone is interested in Director of Design Role and a Senior UX role? My company is expanding and we are trying to look for talents in those areas.

Gusto I’m a product designer hoping to switch industries from the public sector to private. I am struggling because I’m starting to see a lot of pushback on the fact that I don’t have industry specific work. So I’m really curious how much working in a specific industry effects your career path.
I’m looking at some fintech jobs but ultimately want to work in hrtech? Like gusto, lattice, etc. would that potentially prevent that switch?

On the other end of a job where, despite my best efforts, I’m really unhappy with the quality of work I was given. I kept thinking if I pushed and proved myself I would get to do the work the “boys’ club” got to do - TV! broadcast! experiential! 360 campaigns! All of which I know I could be amazing at. Instead I got meh work for years. But I want to stay positive. This new stage of my career is exciting! So now - how do I go after all the experience I want?
I’m uncomfortable that my boyfriend is close with his ex’s mom. I know that she has tried to get them back together in the past. He insists that he just thinks of her as a bit of a parental figure. What do I do?

So I work in the worker’s comp line mainly handling central jurisdictions claims. I am 2 years within the position. What is a good salary stand point for a 2 yr los time adjuster with no past experience? I live in Illinois
I recently got a promotion in my company to work as a Junior CSR in Commercial Lines but I also got a job offer elsewhere to work in the entertainment insurance industry as an Associate. I got the RIBO license in January. The job offer pays more than my promotion but once I told my manager I had this offer she said they are willing to match that offer, however I wouldn’t see an increase in salary for a while. I don’t know what to do because both jobs sound really interesting. Any advice?

Hello, I am a junior business administrator working in advisory operations. I have been with the company for 6 months, and was employed along with 2 other colleagues. I have picked the job up really fast and am even doing some “extra curricula’s” I really love my job. However I have recently found out I am being paid the same as an apprentice on my team, I usually do at 3 x the work he does whilst also doing my Cert CII. It has really disheartened me and I feel I should be earning more money
Curious about other individuals experience level when transitioning from Property Claims Operations into a Managerial Role?
I work as a worker’s compensation adjuster and I cannot seem to get the hand of loss of time. Been in the same role for a year. Any piece of advise? I have made several improvements but it feels like I’m dragging it out. Last question is how do you manage claims that you have not handle for months and you’re too scared to do anything.
I was hired by a company that is paying me a ridiculous amount of money to do my job, but they lied to me, they lied to all of the new hires. This isn’t underwriting, this is a call center. We aren’t even allowed to answer coverage questions when the agents call. The call volume is INSANE - like 70+ calls a day. There’s no actual underwriting happening, and I don’t know what to do. The money is great, but the job is a joke. I’ve been here for 2 months and I want out. Advice?
Random Tangent: After year end results were delivered, staff received meager 3.8% adjustments, which is far from the news reports of 7.9% USA inflation. In short, essentially everyone in the company just took a paycut. And yet there's bafflement in the C suite when we see less than a week later a handful of key contributors leaving.
