Even without LinkedIn, I see a lot of people younger than me in much better roles. They started off with relevant jobs right out of college. I graduated in 2009 when the economy tanked and worked in retail for years before I was finally able to land in corporate. Does anybody else struggle with this as well? I am trying to move from finance (IB tech) to fintech and have 15+ years of experience. I get a feeling my number of years of experience is working against me as all the companies want is young blood. Am I right in thinking this - what can I do to fix it other than reverse aging :-) ?

Hey everyone! I’m interviewing for an HR Generalist role at a Fintech company, this will be their first HR hire and will be reporting to the CFO. I got invited to a second round interview to meet the team to ensure that it’s a good culture fit. I would love to know any thoughts on what I should ask or do to ensure that I am great fit.
