They were talking as much about pop culture stuff and the hosts as they were about the race and news around the grid.

The BBC and SkySports both do a great job covering F1. I think NBC does a good job with IndyCar and IMSA (no comment on NASCAR coverage since I don’t watch it). I just wish ESPN would take their coverage more seriously.

For whatever reason, ABC thinks if it is racing, we must have Danica Patrick on in a major role. I respect what she did as a driver, but she brings nothing to the table, unfortunately. Her F1 knowledge is next to zero, and even as a former driver, provides no meaningful insight.

Anyone else a bit annoyed with the announcers right now? I get you disagree with the decision to not start the race, but man there was so much rain out there I can’t blame race control. I think it’s Crofty, not 100% sure, but the comments like “that car should have a driver in it going around the circuit right about now” are a bit much for me. Anyone else feel the same or am I just overreacting?
