Ritz staff members have $2000 at their disposal for “customer care”. So basically if you give them even the slightest reason, they can use that money. For example, have them do your dry cleaning or get you a bottle of champagne

Actually, Titanium status explicitly comes with Ritz suite upgrades. Platinum does not.
