There's a firm I’d applied to twice last year and didn't get hired. They just posted a Staff Accountant job that fits my current experience perfectly, though. Do hiring managers keep tabs on people who keep coming back, or is it a non-issue? I want to try again now that I'm more qualified, but I don't want to look desperate or get filtered out by their software before a human even sees it. Thoughts?

If lack of experience was the reason you weren’t hired it doesn’t hurt to apply again now that you have more. If there was a diff reason you didn’t get the jobs applying again won’t help.

The honest likelihood that a hiring manager personally saw and rejected you is slim. I’d say apply if you have the experience and better qualifications.

General Question!
According to the new Wage Rules, are companies giving Basic Salary as 50% of fixed Pay? Should we ask HR of our current company or the next company to actually do the same? Or the rule isn't a mandate and it's upon companies to follow it ?
