Are you working directly with the hiring manager/HR of the company, or an external recruiter here? You can try a multiple choice approach which sometimes lowers the friction of them formulating a response.
Something like, "I haven't heard of you, so I'm guessing 1 of these 3 things happened...
1. You're awaiting approval on my counteroffer
2. Someone is out of the office and hasn't seen this email yet
3. [something funny/playful to remind them you're human]
Also ghosting AFTER an offer is uncommon so it could be your contact had a family emergency or something. I would be surprised if they didn't at least get back to you.
No one will pay above the midpoint of the salary range so yes your ask was unreasonable. $120 would have been a more appropriate counter so they could come back with $115 to split the difference. Followed up indeed to confirm if you are no longer being considered for the job or is there still room to negotiate as you are very much wanting to accept the job. They could come back with $110 is most they can do then you can decide to accept or decline. In this market I would accept.

No you didn’t go too far if your counteroffer was within their pay range
Wow, they didn't try to offer a counter offer? That's crazy but one of my biggest fears. That I will price myself out of a job or freelance gig
smh, that sucks. I got ghosted after asking for a few days to rearrange travel plans and meet their start day.
No, I don't think you went too far by negotiating $20K more. You probably did the right thing. Whether they agree or not, it's just courtesy to let you know they won't move forward. Ugh!
