$10/day is a lot for some maps and imessages but we weren't offered that plan. It was $25/100mbs and I threatened to leave over it because we were out of contract. No better deal was offered.
NYC is completely fine but outside is a total pain in the ass. It's ridiculous that I have to pay for data roaming in CA while it's free roaming anywhere else in the world
T-Mobile coverage isn't there yet. I have Verizon and T mobile. There are a couple of airport gates that I fly out if regularly that don't have T-Mobile coverage. It you can't fully cover airports and freeways you aren't ready for prime time. Too many cases where I have to out away my T-Mobile phone and grab the Verizon to get data or reasonable speeds.
The downside for Verizon is that the do terrible things to you when you roam internationally. Just no good options other than taking out your SIM.
But gotta say I love the free international roaming. I had data in Papua, Indonesia
I am on AT&T and have been on anIntl project this past year. My coworker from the US was on the Verizon, and he only paid $10 per day for unlimited data the days he actually used it. So am surprised to hear you say that Verizon Intl isn't good. But then again $10 personal dollars can add up quick I imagine.
I had $1100 bills on AT&T and his $300 Verizon always seemed like such a steal.
