Thinking of taking a few summers out to a Knicks game next week. Shouldn’t have any issues getting reimbursed, right? As long as we keep food/alcohol costs at a reasonable level?

Yes, I'm sure the issue is running up the tab on food and drinks...

If what you do is within your firm's guidelines, then no issue. But usually firms have budgets for what you can spend for summers.

I don't think 4,000 finals tickets are within the firm guidelines...

Unless they're at Millbank

So I had been working as medical interpreter up to the early part of this year. Today, during an interview, the Director with whom I was interviewing genuinely urged me to consider pursuing a career as a PA or even attempt to go to medical school. I had considered it in passing before but today was about the third or fourth time that someone had earnestly nudged me in that direction. Has anyone here made such a career pivot before? I love working in healthcare, there’s nothing like it.

Beginning to consider going in house (4th, corp) - I really haven’t thought about what I want, partly because I’m not sure what’s out there/attainable. Is it a bad idea to start by applying to a couple positions that interest me and seeing where that gets me? I’ll of course prep for the interviews but am afraid to burn potential bridges if I ultimately decline because I’m still figuring things out.
